About the Role
We are looking for a skilled project coordinator that is able to wear many hats within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, and is comfortable handling project support tasks, as well as general accounting.
Responsibilities:
Converse with contractors, vendors, field staff, city officials, and others about specific issues related to projects
Manage multiple timelines and projects simultaneously
Set priorities, and work with little or no direct, daily supervision
Participate in team-based project coordination resulting in client satisfaction and the on-time completion of high quality projects
Technical coordination skills such as budget development, scheduling, and awarding contracts
Ensure project deliverables are met through tasks such as coordinating meetings and preparing agendas
Create and send RFP’s to subcontractors and vendors
Create job, bid, and field binders
Create and send purchase orders, change orders, and proposals to subcontractors
Continuous budget tracking and report analysis for multiple jobs
Requirements
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail orientated and highly organized to manage multiple projects at a time
Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and ability to work independently
Computer knowledge and efficiency, including MS Office, Project Management Software (Builder Trend, Excel)
Experience in the construction industry
Experience managing priorities and timelines
Pass background check and drug test
Employee is subject to a 90-day probationary period, which will be evaluated based on performance.
